Mark Sims is a multi instrumentalist and songwriter from Ohio. He has played in countless rock and blues bands including The Tough and Lovely, The Black River Gypsies, The Southern Diplomats, The Wells, Miller Kelton, Eileen Motok and Intuit, The Thrashers, Anthony Michael Lowe, First Time Long Time, Erika Carey and the Calamities, The Japanese B- Sides and more.
Mark plays guitars, keys, drums and sings. His main influences on guitar playing are Doc Watson, Django Reinhart, Wes Montgomery, Mississippi John Hurt, Merle Travis, Bob Dylan, Townes Van Zant and Eliot Smith as well as countless others.
Mark grew up in Columbus, Ohio and currently lives in Sylvania Ohio with his wife and children. He works as a bricklayer during the day and plays gigs when he can. He's not huge on long walks on the beach but likes hot coffee and short walks through the woods.
